Steve’s Café is a ”Casual Café in the Heart of Montana and Idaho.”
Steve’s Café is a family a neighborhood business that is family owned. Steve’s Café originated by Steve R. Vincelli in April 2009. After working in the corporate setting and responsible for developing a series of restaurant concepts, he opened his first restaurant concept the Montana City Grill and Saloon in 1999. Selling the saloon business after 10 years led Steve to realize that retirement did not satisfy him as he thought. Aptly, Steve’s Café came about from encouragement from local guests, friends, and family. The business has remained consistently busy and has earned ‘Best Breakfast in Helena’ for every year since opening. Steven enjoys woodworking with exotic woods and cooking.
Penny Vincelli began her career as a nurse in California. After working in the nursing industry for many years, she decided to join Steven at the Montana City Grill and then the Café’s. Today she still assists with the vital tasks of bookkeeping, advertising, decorating, and web-page maintenance. Penny also enjoys sewing, gardening and her two dogs, Teddy and Bear.
Steven A. Vincelli will be managing the new “Steve’s Café” in Meridian, which will open in March of 2012. Steven began working in the restaurant business at 14. Working in the family business and other local restaurants throughout the years has shaped his knowledge and viewpoints. Steven graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching in Mountain Home, Idaho for four years, he saw an opportunity arising in the Meridian area and sought to open another of the cafes. Steven enjoys cooking, creative writing, drawing and sky diving.
Our goal is: “to serve the finest food with the best crew, in a comfortable and casual family atmosphere”. We want to earn the right to be your favorite breakfast and lunch Café.
